Assisting Those in Need
Hands of Light in Action's mission is simple---Assist people in need. Founder Nancy Malone, a physical therapist, walked into the home of a patient just in time to see the second plane crash into the World Trade Center and her life was changed. Even as a single mom, she dropped everything to go sleep on park benches and work side-by-side with the firemen at Ground Zero. Her story was published in the Wall Street Journal. When Hurricane Katrina hit, Hands of Light in Action was formed. Nancy's greatest passion is assistance in recovery from natural disasters. Click here to learn more about Hands of Light in Action.
